We only prorate the 1st month of enrollment if you missed a class in that month.
We Invoice on a calendar month. Some months have 5 weeks, 4 weeks or 3 weeks. The month of December often offers students 3 weeks of classes. If the month only has 2 weeks you will be given a voucher.
Tumbling is a fun form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Also, tumbling is referred to as floor gymnastics with common moves performed such as somersaults, tucks, handstands, hand springs, and flips.
Lyrical uses more elements of ballet technique and Contemporary uses more elements of modern and hip hop. Both are set to popular music.
You can use the Parent Portal to view your account, enroll in classes, update your debit/credit card payment, enroll in auto billing, pay tuition/fees, and add students to your account.
We offer Drop Ins for $30 per class.
A Drop In allows you to try the class one time without paying for the full month. Once enrolled in a class, you may use drop ins to try out other classes to enroll in.
Yes! We do assessments upon request, for students that aren’t sure which level they are best suited.
On our website under the tab “Classes” we have a drop in form that you may fill out. You can also give us a call to reserve your spot.
Yes, we have all students pay before coming, to ensure you have a spot in class. Due to COVID capacity limitations we need to know ahead of time how many people we are expecting for class.
The Merit/Reward-based program provides three-yearly informal/in-house showcase/progress presentations where dancers advance through three rankings within their training level as well as the ability to graduate to more advanced levels when ready. For example if you are in Hip Hop 1 at the showcase you have the chance to move up to Hip Hop 1 B , Hip Hop 1 C or graduate to the next level, Hip Hop 2. At our showcase we give all students a certificate as well as a pin coordinating with the level they are moving up to.
Yes. Depending on which level your child is in, we have specific colored leotards, all of which you can purchase at our studio in our store called, The FIT@fdc.
Yes! Our store is located in our lobby, where you can purchase tights, leotards, ballet, tap, and jazz shoes, as well as exclusive FOCUS Dance Attire!

We permit the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes for parents to be at the window and watch. The rest you may sit in our lobby and watch the monitors that we have in each class.
We charge a $75 one-time registration fee when enrolling or $125 for more than one family member when enrolling at the same time.
Yes! Siblings get 10% off their monthly tuition.
Sneakers! We have them at our store for purchase!
No. We don’t freeze accounts, due to students having the ability to enroll in classes at any time, we cannot guarantee a spot upon return. If you drop and come back you will have to pay the Registration again and potentially have to go into a different class.
Yes! Here at FOCUS we call them “Concerts”. We have one concert in the spring for all students.
Yes! We have one Concert a year in the spring!
First week of August.
We have three blocks, a Hip-Hop Block, Jazz/Contemporary Block, and Tap Block.
They should expose themselves to training in ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz and tumbling.
This program is something we recommend for students that are beginner competing dancers from the ages of 4-6, who are wanting to start their competition journey but only want to commit a few hours a week! These students will do 2 competitions, as well as perform at our spring concert.
Monday CSP Ballet 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Tuesday CSP Stretch, Strength + Technique 4:30 - 5:30 PM
Tuesday CSP Combo + Performance 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Wednesday CSP Hip Hop + Choreography 3:30 - 4:30 PM

Yes! We have two classes on our schedule called “Creative Dance” & “JumpStart”!
It is a pre-primary class to Ballet.

Yes. Check class listing on our website and look for classes that have an “OD” at the end.
Yes, for your convenience and safety.
No. Due to safety for the child and needing someone to spot them, we do not allow students to take any tumbling/acro class virtually.
