Kaelyn Zhou

Kaelyn Zhou is a native of Irvine and a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences.

She began dancing at the age of three and trained as a company member at DanceLova Dance Academy, studying ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and tumbling/acro. During her competitive career, Kaelyn earned numerous awards, including Runner-Up Dancer of the Year at the 2018 Rainbow Dance Competition, and trained at conventions such as NUVO, LADM, JUMP, and RADIX.

After graduating, Kaelyn trained and performed with Groove, a professional exhibition team under GRV, where she developed advanced choreography skills and performance quality. Her professional credits also include performing on KTLA Morning News. She currently dances with The G.O.O.D. Project, a competitive dance team, and Project Renegade, UC Irvine’s performance team, where she has also contributed as a choreographer.

Kaelyn began teaching dance at just 15 years old. With a lifelong passion for the art form, she is dedicated to giving back to the dance community by inspiring confidence, nurturing growth, and supporting young dancers on their individual journeys.
