Instructor Sydney Caggegi started dance at the age of 12, training in classical ballet and modern/contemporary dance at Southland Ballet Academy. She danced in productions with Festival Ballet Theatre for many years, and became a part of their junior students company. Graduating with a B.A in Dance from the University of California, Irvine, has helped further her love for dance, teaching, and choreography. Sydney’s background in gymnastics, as well as her knowledge in dance history, Kinesiology, and Pilates help to inform her teaching today. She loves seeing her students improve in their art, and thinks that a successful class is one where the students feel proud of the work they put in that day. She is excited to be a part of the team here at FOCUS Dance Center!
